VTrckS Connection Newsletter
You Asked and We Responded!
During the February Program Managers Meeting (PMM), grantees requested a reduction in the number of hours being proposed for VTrckS and Spend Plan webinar and practice session training. The revised approach, which identifies required classes (essential training needed for Go-Live) vs. elective classes (enhances skills and can be taken post Go-Live) was shared with Program Managers and AIM and AIRA members, and was met with positive feedback. The number of training hours for classes needed prior to Go-Live has been significantly reduced for Vaccine Management to:
- 26 hours of required training before Go-Live for VTrckS Direct and ExIS Grantees (includes webinars and practice sessions)
Experience from training the Spend Plan pilots was instrumental in combining some of the Spend Plan classes. Each class and practice session for Spend Plan is essential for Go-Live; there are no electives for this functionality – all classes are required.
The VTrckS Project Team hopes these changes address the concerns that were presented and allows more flexibility in attending training sessions.
