Slide 12. Trends in TB Cases in Foreign-born Persons, United States, 1988–2008. This slide shows trends in TB cases in foreign-born persons in the United States from 1988 through 2007. The number of TB cases in foreign-born persons increased from nearly 5,000 in 1988 to 7,000–8,000 each year since 1991.
