    This live webinar is for clinicians who provide care for men who have sex with men (MSM). The webinar will review critical diagnostic and management challenges for specific STDs of concern, with an overview the epidemiology of STDs among MSM. The webinar will discuss recommendations specific to helping MSM establish and maintain sexual health. Components of the 2010 STD Treatment Guidelines and additional resources relevant to clinicians working with MSM will also be discussed. The webinar will conclude with a live question and answer session. The webinar will be archived for future viewing. Various forms of continuing education will be available for live and archived webinar viewers.

    This archived webinar is intended for clinicians who care for persons in correctional facilities. The webinar provides an introduction to STD screening and treatment in correctional facilities with an overview of the epidemiology and a discussion of STD screening in correctional facilities. Components of the 2010 STD Treatment Guidelines and additional resources relevant to clinicians working in correctional facilities are also discussed. The webinar concludes with a question and answer session.

  • Webinar - CDC and the National Network of STD/HIV Prevention Training Centers (NNPTC) hosted the first of a series of live STD Treatment Guidelines Webinars for health professionals on January 13, 2011. The archived version of the 2010 STD Treatment Guidelines Webinar: An Overview by CDC and the NNPTC is now available. This Webinar highlights several key changes to the 2010 STD Treatment Guidelines including the recommended treatment regimens for uncomplicated gonococcal infections of the cervix, urethra, and rectum and antimicrobial resistance in gonorrhea and other STDs.

    This Webinar is intended for clinicians providing care for persons with or at risk for STDs and/or clinicians and other staff working in health care settings that provide clinical care for persons with or at risk for STDs. This educational activity can now be accessed as an educational resource but CME credit is no longer available.
