Prevention and Healthy Aging Graduate Course
In this 2-credit online course, students learn strategies to delay common conditions of aging and to emphasize the importance of healthy behaviors throughout the lifespan. Course content includes aging issues (physical, cognitive, social, cultural, and economic) and how these affect individuals, communities, and society. These issues are also put in the context of rising health care costs, decreasing health benefits, and the aging population in the United States.
This course is for graduate students enrolled in any field of study at the University of Pittsburgh.
