This interactive workshop teaches members of community-based organizations how to avoid common pitfalls of grant writing. Instructors demonstrate successful techniques for the grant writing process. Topics include finding the right funder, preparing to write the proposal, components of a grant proposal, the grant review process, and evaluation. Discussion is supplemented by hands-on activities that enable participants to practice specific strategies.
Audience
This training is intended for representatives from public health agencies, community organizations, schools, universities, the general community, and health care services.
