SONRISA: A Curriculum Toolbox for Promotores/Community Health Workers to Address Mental/Emotional Health Issues Associated with Diabetes

In this workshop, community health workers (CHWs) learn to use a curriculum toolbox for training other CHWs on how to address depression and diabetes; integrate educational materials into existing diabetes curricula; use SONRISA materials when helping individuals, families, or communities cope with diabetes; and use coping strategies and resources that support the well-being of CHWs/themselves.

Audience
Promotores or community health workers (English, Spanish, or bilingual speakers).
