This training, offered in English and Spanish, covers community mobilization, public health practice, management, organizational development, and leadership and advocacy skills. It is designed to transfer knowledge and skills to the workplace and improve organizational performance. The instructor modifies the learning strategies (e.g., retreats, team learning, and mentoring) to meet the needs of participants and uses both in-person and distance-learning technologies.
Audience
The course is intended for the community partners and public health agencies associated with the Southwest Center for Community Health Promotion.
