This network is an association of international economists, epidemiologists, social scientists, and other tobacco control experts who research country-specific regional and international tobacco control issues and policies. Researchers from the prevention center coordinate and update the network members on current research and publications, conferences, funding opportunities, and instructional materials and tools for tobacco prevention and control. This information is shared on a Web site, which includes a forum to encourage tobacco control researchers to interact and collaborate with one another. The network includes researchers from the World Bank and the World Health Organization and institutions in Mexico, South Africa, India, Poland, and Southeast Asian countries.
