New Journal Articles Highlight Help for People with Epilepsy

Researchers collaborating in the Managing Epilepsy Well (MEW) network announced that the PEARLS and UPLIFT interventions can help people with epilepsy avoid depression and manage the condition. The studies were published in the November 2010 issue of Epilepsy & Behavior by MEW authors from CDC and from PRCs located at  Emory University in Atlanta, the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, the University of Washington in Seattle, and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Published results were presented in a Webinar on November 16, 2010.
