• Identify areas at-risk for human cases
• Provide data to develop prevention/control strategies
• Provide data to determine geographic distribution & incidence other arboviruses
• Provide national & regional information to public health officials, government officials & public
• Evaluate use of cooperative agreement funds and need for additional resources
