05/07/2020: Lab Advisory: Updated LOINC In Vitro Diagnostic (LIVD) Test Code Mapping for SARS-CoV-2 Test Results
On May 6, 2020, CDC posted an updated version of the LOINC In Vitro Diagnostic (LIVD) Test Code Mapping Tool for SARS-CoV-2 Test Results. CDC and our partners will update the mapping weekly. The update will include newly added tests and changes to codes previously provided. New and changed codes may be identified by filtering the “LOINC mapping” column S – publication version ID (the version ID for this update is 20200505). Codes may require a change when more information becomes available regarding the test. We will describe why a code is changed in the “Release Notes” tab.
