COVID-19 Laboratory Testing and Reporting Q&As and Specimen Collection Guidance
CDC has updated the questions and answers (Q&As) about COVID-19 testing for laboratories. The revised document provides clinical and public health laboratories with updated guidance for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) testing and reporting. CDC has also updated the COVID-19 specimen collection guidance. The revised document clarifies specimen collection procedures for all swab types and aligns with other respiratory disease specimen collection guidelines.
