CDC’s Division of Laboratory Systems celebrates the 51st annual Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (Lab Week). This observance highlights the vital contributions of clinical and public health laboratory professionals.

Lab Week is sponsored by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and coordinated by a coalition of 18 national clinical laboratory organizations.

During Lab Week, and every day, DLS recognizes clinical and public health laboratory professionals for:

  • Being highly skilled
  • Playing a vital role in healthcare
  • Keeping our nation safe
