Training course developed by the Region 2 Public Health Training Center helps prepare public health leaders and the public health workforce to develop the practices and competencies associated with being a Chief Health Strategist. - The NCWWI Workforce Development Framework (ncwwi.org) [PDF – 570KB]
The National Child Welfare Workforce Institute’s (NCWWI) Workforce Development Framework (WDF) can guide agency leaders in the improvement of the health of the child welfare workforce. The WDF explains the key elements of an effective workforce and provides evidence-informed strategies to develop each one. - Example workforce development plans from state and local health departments.
