CDC fellows and interns can provide invaluable public health service and support to CDC Centers, Institutes, or Offices and federal, state and local public health organizations. Our fellows have a wide diversity of skills that lend to increased public health workforce capacity and serve a valuable role with our partners, both within CDC and in state and local health departments. Working alongside mentors and subject matter experts, the fellows and interns gain experience for their future public health careers and help prepare the future public health workforce.
