Targets for the Reduction of Antibiotic Use in Humans in TATFAR Partner Countries

TATFAR published a review of target setting for the reduction of antibiotic use in European Union Member States, Norway, Canada, and the U.S. Nine countries reported implementing targets to reduce antibiotic use in humans and 17 countries indicated that work is underway to establish such targets. This publication and its findings are an important step in monitoring progress towards meeting targets to reduce antibiotic use, as well as identifying potential challenges moving forward.
