Arkansas Highlights
  • With the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Department of Cardiology, the Arkansas Department of Health is promoting cardiovascular disease and diabetes prevention training for community health workers (CHWs). From June 2020 to June 2021, 124 CHWs have received core competency training.
  • The Arkansas Department of Health is coordinating training for 15 pharmacies to deliver medication management therapy by collaborating with Medication Therapy Management The Future Today and Harps Food Stores.
