Immunization Update 2012 Errata

When “Immunization Update 2012” aired on August 16, 2012, it contained a short segment on the use of pneumococcal vaccines in adults. At that time, ACIP had not yet published its recommendations on this topic. Because these recommendations are complex and because specific language describing them had yet to be finalized, we have chosen to remove this segment from the program rather than present information that could be misinterpreted.
When ACIP’s updated recommendations are published, they will be posted at http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/pubs/ACIP-list.htm#pcv.
