2013 CDC World TB Day Observance

Friday, March 22, 2013
World TB Day provides an opportunity to raise awareness about TB-related problems and solutions and to support worldwide TB-control efforts. While great strides have been made to control and cure TB, this disease is still a problem in many parts of the world, including the United States. CDC hosted a World TB Day event on March 22, 2013. The event highlighted provisional 2012 TB surveillance data, personal stories from TB patients, and stories from the front lines of public health.
