CDC Science Clips: Volume 5, Issue 35, September 16, 2013

Each Tuesday, to enhance awareness of emerging scientific knowledge, featured articles will be posted here for the public health community. The focus is applied public health research and prevention science that has the capacity to improve health now. This special issue of Science Clips contains featured topic articles on Community Health Services coinciding with CDC's Public Health Grand Rounds on "Technology and Health: Aging Safely and More Independently".

Science Clips is a service of the CDC Public Health Library and Information Center and CDC's Office of the Chief Science Officer.

  1. Key Scientific Articles in Featured Topic Areas
Subject matter experts decide what topic to feature, and articles are selected from the last 3 to 6 months of published literature. Key topic coincides monthly with other CDC products (e.g. Vital Signs).
