How Do We Apply?
PHAP's host site application period is now closed.
The next host site application period will be in early 2025.
PHAP accepts host site applications through the Enterprise Fellowship Management System (eFMS) during the application period only. For assistance with technical issues or for questions about your application, please email PHAP@cdc.gov
To request access to your 2020, 2021, or 2022 host site application, please contact PHAP@cdc.gov.
Once a host site has been selected, PHAP provides a copy of the Host Site Agreement to Detail by email. A signed copy of this document must be returned to PHAP prior to the associate’s start date.
2024 Timeline
Please note: the dates below are subject to change.
| Dates | Information |

| February | The 2024 host site application cycle opens February 15 and closes on February 29, 2024. Guidelines for completing the application package will be available and a brief training on the host site application system will be given. |
| March–May | Applicants may be contacted for additional information throughout the host site application review process. |
| June–July | Associates are selected and assigned to host sites. |
| Mid-June to Late August | PHAP notifies host sites and associates about their assignments. |
| Mid-October | Associates report to host sites. |
| November | Associates attend PHAP orientation virtually or at CDC Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. |
