A Summary of Public Access Defibrillation Laws, United States, 2010

This figure depicts a map of the United States that summarizes each jurisdiction’s number of mandated public access defibrillator program elements as of January 1, 2010. Sixteen states have 0 to 3 of these elements, 10 states have 4 to 6 elements, 16 states have 7 to 9 elements, and 8 states plus the District of Columbia have 10 to 13 elements.
