Evaluation of Substitute Materials for Silica Sand in Abrasive Blasting

Phase 1, Appendix 2 contains letters from abrasive suppliers who expressed concerns with certain aspects of the protocol involving the restrictions on nozzle size, nozzle to substrate distance, angle of blast, nozzle pressure, the use of a predetermined metering valve setting, and restrictions on the number of recycles in the case of steel grit.  The letters are included in the hard copy of this report, but do not exist in electronic format.
