International Conference on Fall Prevention and Protection 2010

On May 19-20, 2010, many of the foremost researchers in fall prevention and protection will convene in Morgantown, West Virginia at the West Virginia University Erickson Alumni Center, to present their findings and methods at the International Conference on Fall Prevention and Protection (ICFPP). NIOSH is hosting this International Conference to provide a forum for researchers to share their work with other researchers, safety professionals, engineers and students. Optional laboratory tours of the NIOSH facility will be conducted on the day preceding the conference, May 18. The conference will provide a technical forum on Fall Prevention and Protection to present research findings and exchange ideas on emerging methods. Session topics will include falls from elevation; slips, trips and falls; the practical application of prevention and intervention tools and methods; and global strategic goals on fall prevention.

Abstract Submission

Researchers who wish to present the findings of their completed research, or share the methods and lessons of ongoing research, are cordially invited to submit an abstracted version of their research to the review committee by December 21, 2009.

Registration

No registration fee will be charged. Pre-registrations will be accepted until April 15, 2010. After this date, registration must be made on the conference site at the registration desk. Individuals who register prior to April 15, 2010 will be included in the Conference Attendee List. This list will be included in the Agenda Book to be distributed at the conference. Seats are limited to 200, so please register early to assure your place.
