Workshop on Respiratory Protection for Airborne Infectious Agents

Disclaimer: The underlying purpose of this workshop was to initiate discussions concerning the current state of scientific knowledge regarding transmission of infectious agents and respiratory protection; discuss strategies for improving the quality of respiratory protection; and identify critical research needs that will fill current knowledge gaps. These presentations are provided to guide and encourage open discussion and do not represent a comprehensive list of the issues. Participant input was encouraged to identify the research needs and gaps that will be evaluated by CDC at the conclusion of this workshop.
