Workshop on Respiratory Protection for Airborne Infectious Agents
NOTE: This document is provided for historical purposes only.
| November 30 - December 1, 2004 Atlanta, GA | |
Disclaimer:
The underlying purpose of this workshop was to initiate discussions
concerning the current state of scientific knowledge regarding transmission
of infectious agents and respiratory protection; discuss strategies
for improving the quality of respiratory protection; and identify
critical research needs that will fill current knowledge gaps. These
presentations are provided to guide and encourage open discussion
and do not represent a comprehensive list of the issues. Participant
input was encouraged to identify the research needs and gaps that will
be evaluated by CDC at the conclusion of this workshop.
