Food Safety and West Nile Virus


Key Performance Indicators

Food Safety
  • Trainings will be coordinated to educate the epidemiologic staff regarding the appropriate collection of specimens and provide specimens collection material.
West Nile Virus
  • A WNV test by serology and/or virus detection will be performed to all animal and human samples received.
  • Samples from sick equines will also be tested for EEEV, as human samples will also be tested for SLE.
