The Next NSFG Data File: A Preview for Researchers
A workshop was given by NSFG staff from the National Center for Health Statistics and University of Michigan, Institute for Social Research to attendees of the annual meeting of the Population Association of America in April 2009. It was designed as a guide for researchers who expect to use the forthcoming data file from the Continuous National Survey of Family Growth. This workshop provided an overview of the contents of the files (compared with Cycle 6 content), how the data were collected, how the data files will be organized, and how to obtain these data when the files are released. Anticipated release date is late 2009.
The power point presentation from this workshop is available. Please send requests to: nsfg@cdc.gov
