HWI ToolkitsToolkits

Toolkits are timesaving aids that provide customizable turn-key solutions to help program planners plan, implement, and evaluate a specific health promotion intervention. Before implementing any of these interventions, the toolkits should be selected and evaluated based on the identified needs of your employee population.

 

This section contains toolkits developed by Healthier Worksite Initiative (HWI), designated with HWI, and toolkits available from other sources. The toolkits are divided into the four pillars of the President's HealthierUS Executive Order and a general category:

General Workforce Health Promotion

General Workforce Health Promotion Toolkits
This section contains toolkits from CDC or other sources that address overall program design and planning for health promotion programs in the work place.

CDC Personal Empowerment Plan
Personal Empowerment Plan (PEP) is a 12-week self-directed, work site program to promote healthy eating and moderate physical activity. The program materials include workbooks for healthy eating and physical activity targeting employees based on their motivational readiness to change. A coordinator's kit, promotional brochures, and posters are also included in the program.

Nutritious Eating
