Emergency Preparedness and Response Training Plan
For National Preparedness Month, CDC offers a new Emergency Preparedness and Response online training plan. Effective emergency preparedness and response relies on highly trained frontline public health workers. The introductory courses in this plan teach many of the main concepts of public health preparedness — important for every public health worker. After completion of foundational courses, learners can take additional offerings that are organized within the four domains of the Public Health Preparedness and Response Core Competency Model. These include Model Leadership, Communicate and Manage Information, Plan for and Improve Practice, and Protect Worker Health and Safety. Access the training plan.
