Purpose

The purpose of this announcement is to solicit an application from the Nationwide Children's Hospital Research Institute regarding the prevention and control of fatal and/or nonfatal injury and related disability among children and adolescents. Specifically, the requested funding would allow continued expansion of the research and other activities of the Nationwide Children's Hospital Research Institute to prevent injuries occurring in and around the home. These activities could include research, education, and community outreach.
