Girls Inc. provides educational programs to millions of American girls, particularly those in high-risk, underserved areas; the organization is dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold.

Girls Inc.'s Program in Action

Girls Inc. is funded to provide Capacity-Building Assistance for Preventing HIV Infections: Organizations that Serve African American and Latina Females.

  • Providing mini-grants for training and implementation of the Girls Inc. Preventing Adolescent Pregnancy program.
  • Conducing webinars for local affiliates, AIDS Alliance, and Advocates for Youth to build and strengthen HIV prevention programs.
  • Engaging young Latina and African American girls and young women in opportunities to advocate for their health, including prevention of HIV and STDs.
