Steps in the Continuing Education Proposal Process
Prepare the CE Proposal.
You will prepare a CE proposal that will contain the following:
- completed documents
- copies of materials from your educational activity (e.g., agendas, promotional materials, enduring course materials)
There are three types of CE proposals and the developer will choose the type appropriate for their needs:
- Live Educational Activities for traditional courses, conferences, satellite broadcasts, live webcasts, electronic conferencing, webinar
- Enduring Materials for computer-based, web-based, or multi-media courses; self-study print materials; and videotapes
- Blended: Combines live types of activities with enduring materials
A checklist of the required contents for each proposal, and all the required documents are available online in the Documents for CE Proposal section of this website.
Instructions for compiling the CE proposal
To view or print a copy of the instructions for compiling the CE proposal, download the Proposal Packet Instructions (provided by your CE consultant). We recommend, printing these instructions so you can refer to them as you compile your CE proposal.
