How to use this website

This internet site will assist you in developing a complete and comprehensive Continuing Education (CE) proposal for your educational activity. If you are a regular user of this site, be sure to check the What's New section for updates or recent changes.

CDC is committed to relevant, quality, and timely accredited educational activities that enable the public health workforce at all levels to receive necessary training. Through scientific, informational, and instructional programs, CDC-offered continuing education credits and contact hours support the achievement of professionals dedicated to public health.

Please note: We can only consider proposals for CDC-affiliated activities. Proposals from outside organizations not cosponsored by CDC cannot be accepted. When a CDC national center or OD staff office cosponsors an activity, that national center or OD staff office is responsible for completing the CE proposal and for supervising any contractor who assists in the CE proposal. Only educational activities directed toward professional audiences are accepted for review. A copy of our policy is located in the Support Information section.

Refer to this site for the most up-to-date instructions and forms for compiling your CE proposal. Please let us know if this internet site meets your needs and advise us of other ways we can be of service to you.

New to the CE Process?

If you are not familiar with the CE process and would like more information, start with the steps outlined in the Steps in the Continuing Education Proposal Process section.

Returning User?

If you already know the process and are ready to fill out the forms, but do not have an activity number, please submit a CE Request form. After this has been submitted, you will receive an activity number and a timeline.

If you have already been assigned an activity number and are ready to fill out the forms, go to the Documents for CE Proposal section.

If you need assistance, call the CE office at 404-498-6424.
