NPCR-AERRO Activities and Initiatives
The National Program of Cancer Registries-Advancing E-cancer Reporting and Registry Operations (NPCR-AERRO) Team performs the following activities and initiatives—
Electronic Pathology (ePath) Reporting Activities: Activities in this area are focused on electronic anatomical pathology reporting from laboratories to state central cancer registries.
eHealth Initiatives: Activities in this area are focused on working with national and international organizations to provide representation from the cancer registry community in the forefront of the EHR development initiatives. Many national and international eHealth activities are contributing to the development of the EHR. NPCR-AERRO ensures that the needs of cancer registries are addressed in eHealth activities whenever possible.
