To raise awareness about the five major gynecologic cancers (cervical, ovarian, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provides information and educational materials for women and health care providers.   Inside Knowledge Campaign This new CDC public awareness campaign helps women get the facts about gynecologic cancer by providing important "inside knowledge" about their bodies and health. Free or Low-Cost Cancer Screening The Pap test helps prevent cervical cancer or find it early, when treatment can be most effective. Ovarian Cancer Warning Signs Know the warning signs of ovarian cancer, which are not always easy to recognize.
