Internet-based
Reporting Systems
Currently,
most public health surveillance data are collected through
paper forms or stand-alone applications developed for specific
program needs. The next generation of surveillance systems
includes web-based applications and internet-accessible data
sources. These systems are pioneering web-based reporting
for public health.
