WAIT Training fosters healthy outcomes for youth and a healthy family formation for adults through its professional development and training opportunities.

WAIT Training's Program in Action

WAIT Training is funded to provide Capacity-Building Assistance for Promoting Sexual Abstinence: Education Program Planning.

  • Continuing to revise and develop the Systematic Method for Abstinence Rating Tool (SMARTool).
     
  • Conducting pilot professional development trainings to increase the cultural competency and linguistic appropriateness of the Tool as well as the applicability for various audiences.
     
  • Developing a marketing strategy to promote professional development trainings on the SMARTool for a variety of target audiences.
