The
Oklahoma Department of Education receives funding from CDC’s Division of
Adolescent and School Health to provide HIV prevention education and conduct
the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS). The goal of the Oklahoma Department
of Education’s HIV Prevention Program is to support the adoption of
effective statewide HIV policies, strengthen HIV prevention education in
grades 7 −12, and provide technical assistance to schools in communities at
highest risk for HIV infection.Providing HIV Prevention Education
