Miami-Dade
County Public Schools in Florida receives funding from CDC’s Division of
Adolescent and School Health to provide HIV prevention education and conduct
the Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS). The goals of the Miami-Dade County
Public Schools HIV/AIDS Education Program are to strengthen HIV prevention
education in grades K–12, strengthen procedures to monitor the availability
and adequacy of health education, enhance HIV prevention education through
community collaborations, and continuously evaluate programmatic activities
