Still Going Strong campaign resources are available below to download and share. This campaign speaks directly to older adults, age 65 and older, and their caregivers. We want to raise awareness about preventable injuries among older adults. Many common injuries can be prevented, and there are simple steps you can take to stay healthy and independent longer. Getting older doesn’t have to mean giving up the activities you enjoy.
CDC will focus ads in both metro and rural markets in four states: Maine, Oklahoma, Oregon, and Wisconsin. We selected these states for their incidence of older adult falls, fall injuries, motor vehicle crashes, and deaths caused by injuries. The campaign will have national reach through social media, media coverage, and partner efforts.
