This interactive United States map shows estimates of U.S. life expectancy at birth by State and sex for 2018. Estimates were produced for the U.S., 50 states and the District of Columbia. The data used to estimate the U.S. State life expectancy for 2018 are state-specific final numbers of deaths for the year 2018.
