On December 5, 2020, CDC updated the Interim Guidance for Antigen Testing for SARS-CoV-2 Web page. Refer to this guidance for more detailed updates:
- A new section on the processing of antigen tests – this section reflects on lessons learned and provides guidance on how to minimize the risk of false results
- A revised section on evaluating the results of antigen tests – this section introduces a new antigen testing algorithm and reiterates the need to implement confirmatory testing in certain circumstances
