Yvonne T. Green, RN, CNM, MSN

Associate Director for Women′s Health

 

Yvonne Green, RN, CNM, MSN, is the Director of the Office of Women′s Health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In her role, Ms. Green works to promote the health and safety of women throughout every stage of life with a focus on wellness and prevention. She has held this position since October 1999. She is a registered nurse and certified nurse midwife.

Ms. Green has worked in women′s health for the majority of her career, primarily in public and private hospitals and medical centers, and public health departments. She has been with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since 1984.

Ms. Green graduated from Dillard University in New Orleans, and Yale University.
