CDC has released an update to Solve the Outbreak, the popular, free iPad app that puts you in the shoes of a member of the Epidemic Intelligence Service. The app now has 12 outbreaks, giving you the opportunity to climb the ranks and achieve your Disease Detective badge.

Cyclospora cayetanensis is a single-celled parasite that causes an intestinal infection called cyclosporiasis.
People can become infected with Cyclospora by consuming food or water contaminated with the parasite. People living or traveling in countries where cyclosporiasis is endemic may be at increased risk for infection.
