SUMMARY
On Friday, March 2, 2018, a police officer was killed after driving his 2015 Ford Explorer into floodwaters while
on patrol. On Monday, March 5, 2018, the Kentucky Labor Cabinet informed the Kentucky Fatality Assessment
and Control Evaluation Program of the incident. On March 13, 2018, the Kentucky FACE investigator
conducted a site visit. Photographs of the incident site and witness statements were taken at that time.
