On June 21, 2023, CDC issued a Health Alert Network (HAN) message to remind clinicians and public health officials to provide guidance for measles prevention to international travelers and to be on alert for cases of measles.
Clinical laboratories should review these Lab Tools for Measles testing for information on collecting and shipping specimens from suspected measles cases. For more information, please review the HAN in detail.
