Mission Statement
To coordinate and monitor DHP activities related to reducing health inequities among populations most disproportionately affected by HIV based on the available surveillance data. These populations include, but are not limited to, African American persons, Hispanic or Latino persons, gay and bisexual men, transgender persons, and persons who inject drugs. The office will also address the division’s activities around HIV prevention for incarcerated persons.
