This map displays the percentage of women unscreened for breast cancer by county in New York State and the proportion of uninsured women who did not receive screening services through the New York State Cancer Services Program. Several counties have a large proportion of women who are unscreened, including parts of western and central New York. In addition, a large percentage of women who are eligible for screening services through the New York State Cancer Services Program are not being reached by the program, including women in several counties downstate and in western New York.
