Dr. Watkins is President and Laboratory Director at NeuroLab, Inc. In addition, he is currently Regional Medical Director for Community Care of North Carolina. In this position, he has helped oversee the company’s patient-centered medical home (PCMH) and quality improvement efforts across the state. He has over 30 years of clinical experience, spanning academics, corporate, and private practice medicine and has held leadership roles in numerous professional organizations. Dr. Watkins has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters and has spoken nationally and internationally on a wide range of subjects including neurohormonal balance, nutrition, and predictive genomics. He is currently serving his second term as an AAFP-appointed Director on the COLA Board of Directors.
