April Veoukas, JD, is Abbott’s Director of Regulatory Affairs with over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry. In her corporate role, April represents Abbott in industry associations, formulates company responses to proposed regulatory policies, and works with Abbott businesses. April is the industry Co-Chair of the AdvaMed Technology & Regulation Working Group, former Chair of the 510(k) Working Group, former Chair of the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) EP39 document development committee, a member of several Medical Device Innovation Consortium (MDIC) Steering Committees, and a former industry representative on FDA’s Medical Devices Dispute Resolution panel advisory committee.
